Jenks Avenue Widening from Baldwin Road to SR 390 Design-Build
This project widened 1.3-miles of Jenks Avenue from a 2-lane roadway to a 5-lane roadway with sidewalk on both sides on the roadway. GE provided drainage system design, utility coordination, curb & gutter, signal design, and sign and pavement marking design. This project was the first project to be permitted through pollutant loading reduction in Northwest Florida Water Management District by providing off-site treatment compensation via an off-line wet detention facility.
Frankford Avenue Sidewalk Design-Build
GE provided design and engineering services, associated environmental permitting assistance and limited drainage review, utility coordination, sidewalk and roadway resurfacing for Frankford Avenue from 23rd Street to SR 390 in Bay County. This included stabilization of all disturbed areas and adding curb & gutter with a 6' sidewalk along both sides of Frankford Avenue.
12th Street Drainage
GE provided design and engineering services to reduce flooding and increase safety along 12th Street in Panama City, Florida. The project included preparation of construction plans to upgrade the existing conveyance system from 12th Street to 9th Street with approximately 2,325 linear feet of 42" pipe, supporting pipe, and additional drainage measures. GE coordinated closely with Bay County on the 11th Street resurfacing project to install the 42" cross drain.
