2012 Certified LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum -

GE provided professional engineering services for a 92 unit apartment community, Panama Commons Apartment Homes) located at the intersection of Sherman Ave. and 11th Street in Panama City, FL
The project met Platinum Level LEED for Homes criteria
The design required coordination with the city of Panama City, NWFWMD and FDEP staff
There were numerous design tasks for the apartment community including stormwater facility, potable water, gravity sewer and traffic analysis
The stormwater was designed to be treated and attenuated underground with a sand filter system to address the potential for groundwater intrusion into the system

2021 FTBA "Best in Construction" Award -

GE provided professional engineering services for the SR 30 (US 98) Coastal Highway from Surf Road to South of Tower Road included 2.7 miles of Shared Use Path
The design enhanced public safety and earned this distinguished award for Rural projects

2019 ACEC-FL FDOT Outstanding Project Award -

Environmental Project- SR 30 (CC2C- Coastal Trail) Shared Use Path from SR 61 to Davisville Way

GE was awarded 1 of only 7 ACEC-FL/FDOT awards in 2019
GE provided professional engineering for a 12 mile Shared Use Path facility along SR 30 from SR 61 to St. Marks Trail in Wakulla County, FL under 4 separate projects
The design included facility design plans along with full roadway, drainage, and survey coordination to verify FDOT and ADA standards
This project also included Pedestrian Accommodation
