MINGE BRANCH DRIVE

DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS 

Gortemoller Engineering, Inc. (GE) provided professional engineering services for the drainage improvements for the 0.57-mile new alignment construction of Minge Branch Drive from Mill Bayou Road to Titus Road Connector in Bay County, FL. The drainage improvements included a raw water line. The project required permitting through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for stormwater and through the City of Lynn Haven. As part of the project, extensive coordination with the adjacent residential subdivision developer was required for roadway profile connection at the round-a-bout for Mill Bayou Road, stormwater coordination for uncapturable area to be captured and treated by the development due to profile limitations and coordination with Bay County Utility Services for the crossing of the County's water supply lines. The stormwater design included base flood elevation modeling to calculate and provide flood compensatory volume.
